Our algorithm scans every possible window of consecutive days in your selected year. It identifies combinations where weekends and public holidays reduce the number of PTO days needed, then ranks them by total days off. You get the top 5 most efficient combinations.
What holidays does it include?
We use the Nager.Date API to fetch official public holidays for each country. Only nationally-observed holidays are included (not regional ones) to ensure accuracy across the country.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. We don't store any personal data, don't require sign-up, and don't use cookies. Your PTO calculations never leave your device.
Which countries are supported?
Currently: United States, France, United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany. We're adding more countries based on demand — the underlying API supports 100+ countries.
Can I use this for 2027 and beyond?
Yes! Switch between the current year and next year using the year selector. Holiday dates are fetched dynamically, so the results are always accurate for the selected year.
